the moon is out tonight
the moon is out tonight
the moon is out tonight
the moon is out and bright
the rain is warm and i
don't mind if i get wet
don't mind if i get wet
don't mind of i get wet
i can see the rain
i can see the drops
i can see them drop
i can see them drop
everything looks blue
under the light of the moon
everything looks blue
under the light of the moon
the water shines at night
the water shines at night
the water shines at night
the water shines so white
i thought i could see the stars fall
i thought i could see the stars fall down
i thought i could see the stars fall
i could see the rain fall down
your hands looks so blue
under the light of the moon
your wet face shines so blue
under the light of the moon
if we could fill a jar
with the water shining on our skin
we could light the way into
the forest black and blue and see ahead with the light of the moon

Frankly, I go for bedroom recordings. Why... well, in such a setting with (usually) limited technical resources, the only way out is real good songwriting! And Tom Milsom aka "Gemini Eye" evidently has plenty of the required talent. "Alien Home" is a fun album with great lyrics and clever, ever-surprising song ideas, demonstrating that even a most tasty meal doesn't need more than simple ingredients. More favorite tracks besides "Home": "Charlie's Birthday Song", "A Little Irony", and "West Street". Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
