you are alone but you're not alone
you are alone with everything
you are alone but you're not alone
there may be bugs outside
but they are alive they are alive
there are moths and frogs
everywhere everywhere
drink all the water you can
drink all the water you can
run so fast that you might fall
run as fast as you can
you are alone but you're not alone
you are alone with everything
you are alone but you're not alone
there are birds outside
and they are alive they are alive
there are trees and grass
everywhere everywhere
drink all the water you can
drink all the water you can
climb anything you can
climb as fast as you can
you are alone but you're not alone
you are alone with everything
you are alone but you're not alone
there are people outside
and they are alive, they are alive
there are cats and dogs
everywhere, everywhere
drink all the water you can
drink all the water you can
jump a stream so wide that you might fall
jump over every stream that you can
you are alone, but you're not alone
you are alone with everyone
you are alone, but you're not alone
you are alone with everyone

Big thanks to: Nina Patafi, Amanda Joy, Spencer, Susanna Morris, Pable, Krissy Lassiter, Jordan McNaughton, Ashleigh Payne, Ellen Underwood, Alex Bunish, and everyone else who lent me their voices for this track.
Frankly, I go for bedroom recordings. Why... well, in such a setting with (usually) limited technical resources, the only way out is real good songwriting! And Tom Milsom aka "Gemini Eye" evidently has plenty of the required talent. "Alien Home" is a fun album with great lyrics and clever, ever-surprising song ideas, demonstrating that even a most tasty meal doesn't need more than simple ingredients. More favorite tracks besides "Home": "Charlie's Birthday Song", "A Little Irony", and "West Street". Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
